Epsilon Secures Rs 145 Cr for Domestic Battery Manufacturing

Epsilon Advanced Materials has been awarded Rs 145 crore in financial support through the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's (MeitY) ECMS program. Being the exclusive anode manufacturer approved in the latest tranche, the company will leverage this capital to advance its indigenous graphite anode material project. With its Vijayanagar facility already operational, Epsilon aims to achieve a manufacturing capacity of 30,000 tonnes per annum by 2028, catering to the burgeoning electric vehicle and consumer electronics sectors.
